LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM

L&C it’s an intensive 8 week program which is sponsored by de Northern Illinois University NIU and developed in Costa Rica by Costa Rica Study Abroad S.A.

This program offers the student the opportunity to take 2-3 superior Spanish courses, according to each student’s level: Advanced conversation, Composition, Approximations to Latin American Literature, Applied conversation and business Spanish.

With these courses the student will not only improve his/her Spanish skills but practice it on a daily basis with a host family in a full immersion environment.

The student will have the opportunity to apreciate, know and live our culture, not only through the spanish courses but through interactive expereinces such as cultural and artistic activites, field trips. Music, dance and much more… !!!

L&C includes home stay, 2-3 spanish courses, one field trip and all the kindness and hospitalito of the Costa Rican people.

CREDITS: 6 y 9 credits, depending on the courses you enroll in for.
